#1 Conversions Lead to Digital Marketing Profits

Copy the code and place it in your website code.  You will want to embed it in a site wide element like your header or footer so our settings can control where it will appear. When installed correctly you can then make setting changes on the fly from your account and not have to touch the code on your website again.  Changing if the pop-up shows on mobile or turning on 3rd-party reviews after the fact all can be controlled from the settings page.  

Once you have your initial settings (you can always change them) you are ready to grab your embed code and add the Conversion Pop-up to your website.  When you click the “embed code” button you will be given the code to add to your site. Customer reviews may scare some marketers because they give consumers power, but they are a key component of success on the web.  
The power of reviews has long been established, with studies showing specifically how reviews work to influence the purchasing decision. When an endorsement is given, the endorser’s influence is being intentionally channeled in order to encourage more people to purchase the product. In order to receive an endorsement for your product or service, you will typically need to have provided some level of value to the endorser (through your product/service or in the form of direct payment) or have an existing relationship.

For the study, items were categorized as high or low priced (based on a median item price), so the conversion rate between these two price types could be measured.  
The Northwestern research team wanted the study to track the conversion impact from the first point when an item had no reviews posted, throughout the purchasing journey where products began generating reviews. Keep in mind that this is on Amazon, a trusted brand where the default assumption is that the customer reviews are real.  

For this research study, we tracked whether consumers picked the businesses with or without the customer review on the landing pages. The Conversion Pop-up is designed to help strengthen the trust of visitors to your website.  The Pop-up does not have review schema like our Review Widget or any other SEO or ranking benefits.  
It suggests that without a healthy volume of reviews, you’ll miss out on the full benefits of social commerce - increased traffic, higher conversion rates, invaluable business insight and improved customer loyalty.
